• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for elderly clients, identifying and analyzing their unique emotional and psychological needs.

• Develop customized, evidence-based treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, ensuring comprehensive care for each client.

• Facilitate grief counseling sessions to support clients and their families through the process of loss, helping them find meaning and closure.

You will primarily work with senior clients, addressing their unique mental health needs related to aging. This includes supporting those coping with the complex emotions tied to life transitions, such as retirement, relocation, or chronic illness. A culturally sensitive approach is paramount as you engage with a diverse range of older adults.

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential.
• A minimum of four years of recent experience in geriatric counseling and mental health support.
• Strong understanding of evidence-based practices relevant to the mental health needs of older adults.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling connection with seniors and their families.
