Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to create pre-crisis and crisis plans, positive behavior support plans, and medication treatment strategies.
• Timely completion of documentation and compliance with all regulatory standards, ensuring accuracy and clarity in patient records.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools as directed by the clinical team, enhancing the diagnosis and treatment process.
• Engage in active participation during licensing and accreditation processes to maintain the highest level of service quality.
• Forge collaborative relationships with community partners, state agencies, and other service systems to strengthen support networks for clients.
• Communicate effectively within the organization to uphold contract standards and promote the agency’s mission within the community.
• Identify and secure potential funding sources, alliances, and partnerships that can expand the reach and impact of our services.
• Pursue ongoing professional development opportunities, including attending conferences and representing the agency at relevant meetings and committees.
• Uphold and promote the mission, values, and philosophy of Beverly Wellness Care in all aspects of your work.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse population of clients, ranging from individuals dealing with mental health issues to those in need of support for substance use recovery, developmental disabilities, and brain injuries. Your expertise as an LMHC will play a crucial role in guiding these individuals towards healthier life choices, enhancing their emotional well-being and social integration.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field is required.
• Current independent LMHC license, or the willingness to obtain licensure in the state of Texas—relocation assistance for licensure fees is provided for out-of-state counselors.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a telehealth setting, delivering services remotely, with proficiency in using virtual communication tools.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapy modalities and their practical application in treatment.
• Background in substance use recovery services or experience working with developmental disability and brain injury populations is highly desirable.
