Job description

Location: (Remote) โ€“ Preferred location is Georgia. Must be able to travel to major retailer(s) and assigned accounts will be required as needed.

Position Summary:

The Senior Sales Manager, Home Appliances & Home Comfort plays a critical role in driving the growth and expansion of TCL's Appliances and Home Comfort categories across major retail accounts in North America. Reporting to the Vice President of Smart Home Appliances, this role is responsible for establishing TCL as an emerging and competitive brand within key national retailers, including The Home Depot and other strategic accounts.

This position sits at the intersection of Sales, Retail Strategy, Forecasting, and Cross-Functional Collaboration, translating market opportunities into sustainable revenue growth and long-term retail partnerships. The Senior Sales Manager will serve as a strategic business leader, developing and executing account strategies that strengthen TCL's market presence while driving profitable sales performance across multiple product categories.

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated and results-driven sales professional with deep experience in appliances and home comfort categories, strong retailer relationships, and the ability to navigate complex organizations. This individual thrives in fast-paced environments, excels at building executive-level partnerships, and collaborates effectively across diverse teams and cultures.

Responsibilities:

Retail Growth & Market Expansion

  • Drive the expansion and positioning of TCL Appliances and Home Comfort products within The Home Depot and other assigned national retail accounts.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to increase market share, brand visibility, and profitable revenue growth across assigned categories.
  • Identify new business opportunities and category expansion initiatives that align with TCL's long-term growth objectives.

Account Management & Relationship Development

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders ranging from buyers to executive leadership within customer organizations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned retail accounts, ensuring alignment on business objectives, assortment strategies, promotional initiatives, and growth opportunities.
  • Effectively influence internal and external stakeholders to drive collaboration, problem-solving, and strategic execution.

Sales Performance & Revenue Management

  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets, revenue goals, and strategic objectives across assigned accounts and product categories.
  • Lead annual business planning processes, including forecasting, promotional planning, and revenue management initiatives.
  • Monitor sales performance, inventory trends, and category dynamics to proactively identify risks and growth opportunities.

Forecasting, Planning & Operational Execution

  • Partner closely with customers and internal cross-functional teams to develop accurate demand forecasts and inventory plans.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, Product Management, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure product availability and executional excellence.
  • Maintain strong visibility into market conditions, retailer priorities, and competitive activity to support strategic decision-making.

Market Intelligence & Competitive Insights

  • Provide leadership with actionable insights regarding competitive trends, pricing strategies, consumer demand, and category performance.
  • Analyze market data and retailer feedback to identify opportunities for innovation, assortment optimization, and share growth.
  • Support go-to-market initiatives and product launches through effective account alignment and execution.

Qualifications:

Must Haves:

  • 10+ years of sales experience within Appliances, Home Comfort, or Consumer Durables categories.
  • Proven success managing large national retail accounts such as The Home Depot and other major appliance or home improvement retailers.
  • Demonstrated ability to exceed sales goals and drive profitable business growth across multiple product categories.
  • Strong relationship management skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Experience in demand planning, forecasting, inventory management, and retail business planning.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience required.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%.
