Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of clientsโ€™ mental health needs and establishing person-centered, recovery-based treatment plans tailored to each individual.
  • Continuously evaluating the effectiveness of treatment strategies and adjusting them as necessary to align with clients' evolving needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on adults aged 18 and older who are navigating mental illness. Clients may face challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral disorders, impacting their ability to maintain stable community living and relationships. Your role is crucial in supporting clients on their path to recovery, encouraging self-sufficiency, and fostering resilience in their everyday lives.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates should have the following qualifications:

  • A Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
  • Current state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker - Clinical (LCSW-C).
  • Ability to practice independently and without supervision, with no disciplinary actions on your license.
  • Strong interpersonal skills that foster effective therapeutic relationships.
  • Basic proficiency with computer systems and a reliable Wi-Fi connection for remote work.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following experience is preferred:

  • Demonstrated experience providing direct clinical services to diverse patient populations.

Compensation and Benefits
