Remote/Travel This position requires travel up to 80% of the time, primarily via air travel from employee home to dealer locations throughout the United States.
It provides an excellent opportunity to engage directly with clients and partners outside the regular office environment. Hours will vary on travel days based on need. Preferred home base locations include Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, Texas, Wisconsin, and close proximity to a major airport.

This specialist leverages their in-depth understanding of OSHA and EHS guidelines to help automotive dealers rectify safety violations and utilizes this expertise to aid the sales team in acquiring new clients. The Safety Specialist is also responsible for conducting regular webinars for state dealer associations, and providing updates on evolving or relevant regulations.
Responsibilities Demonstrations and Walkthroughs : Assist with product demos and conduct free walkthroughs alongside a sales representative to help close deals. Training : Train staff on conducting Chemical & Equipment inventories. Inventories and Inspections : Manage C&E inventories and walkthroughs, and perform spot-checks on inspections.
Technical Support : Assist Client Success Managers in discussing the technical aspects of Safety and other dealer resources, handling debriefs after a safety assessment. OSHA Representation : Act as the emergency OSHA representative for dealers during accidents, managing OSHA inspector interactions. Client Satisfaction and Retention : Maintain high client satisfaction and retention rates.
Product Value : Demonstrate the long-term value of the product. Product Adoption : Encourage adoption by explaining compliance requirements. Customer Alignment : Maintain contact with initially onboarded customers to prevent any loss of connection.
Feature Utilization : Encourage clients to fully utilize all software features and capabilities. Product Functionality Adoption : Ensure customers adopt additional product functionality as it becomes available. New Products Promotion : Inform existing customers about new products as they are released and cross-promotion of products.
Product Exposure : Ensure clients fully utilize the software's features through continuous contact and exposure. Onboarding : Manage customer onboarding as outlined by the Client Success Director. Ongoing Education : Conduct at least quarterly meetings with customers for continued product education post-onboarding.
Industry Awareness : Stay updated on industry trends, emerging threats, and regulatory changes relevant to car dealerships as directed by the Client Success Director. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business or related field; three years OSHA/EHS work experience; or any combination of education, experience, and training which provides the following knowledge, skills, and abilities: ASP/CSP certification or equivalent preferred Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with HubSpot or similar CRM tools Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify client issues and develop effective solutions. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and successfully interact with a variety of stakeholders and people at all management and support levels, within and outside the organization.
Ability to meet regular attendance expectations and meet tight deliverable deadlines. Ability to travel, primarily air travel, up to 80%. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States and able to provide proof of work authorization within three days of start date.
