We're seeking an experienced, hands-on Vice President of Product Management to lead our Public Safety division, PowerDMS-trusted by thousands of law enforcement, fire, and public safety agencies to manage accreditation, training, and compliance.
This role is ideal for someone who has worked in or deeply understands public safety-whether through military service, law enforcement, firefighting, EMS, or building technology for these professionals. You'll define the product vision, drive execution, and collaborate across teams to deliver software that helps protect those who protect others.

What You Will do
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for the PowerDMS product portfolio, aligning with NEOGOV's overall business objectives and market demands.
  • Portfolio Ownership: Lead a complex multi-product portfolio (12+ products), ensuring cohesive strategy, cross-product alignment, and seamless integration across applications
  • AI/ML Product Innovation: Oversee and guide efforts to integrate AI and machine learning capabilities into the product suite, ensuring responsible application and measurable customer impact.
  • Product Development: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of new features and enhancements.
  • Market Analysis: Continuously conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats, and use this information to inform product decisions.
  • Customer Focus: Collaborate with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to gather feedback and insights, ensuring that our PowerDMS products meet their needs and exceed expectations.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of product managers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, sales, marketing, support, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of product initiatives.
  • Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the portfolio of products and make data-driven decisions.
  • Industry Engagement: Represent NEOGOV at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings, positioning the company as a thought leader in the Public Safety technology space.

What You Have
  • Product leaders with experience in Public Safety, GovTech, DefenseTech, or RegTech or former public safety, veterans, or former military officers that have pivoted to Product.
  • 10+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of successfully leading a portfolio of Saas technology products with $75M+ in ARR.
  • Proven experience in managing and scaling high-performing product management teams of 8 or more members, with a hands-on approach to leadership and a track record of driving team success.
  • Demonstrated success in managing product ecosystems and driving cross-product strategy, integration, and technical alignment.
  • Hands-on experience integrating AI or machine learning features into enterprise products is preferred.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
