• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate clients’ emotional, behavioral, and psychological states, using standardized tools and techniques to inform diagnosis.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, tailoring strategies to meet their unique goals and aspirations.
• Provide therapeutic counseling to individuals, couples, families, and groups using a variety of evidence-based techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.
• Establish and maintain strong, trusting relationships with clients through empathetic engagement and active listening, adapting communication styles to meet diverse needs.
• Utilize therapeutic interventions to help clients identify and modify maladaptive thought patterns and behaviors, fostering an environment conducive to change.
• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
• Document clients’ progress and treatment responses accurately through an electronic health records system, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality.
• Participate in continuous professional development, attending workshops and training to stay abreast of new methodologies and advancements in mental health treatment.
• Adjust therapeutic approaches based on client feedback and emerging practices, contributing to a culture of ongoing improvement within the organization.

In this role, you will primarily cater to a wide-ranging client population that includes adults and adolescents grappling with various mental health challenges. Clients may seek support for issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, trauma, and life transitions. By applying tailored therapeutic modalities, you will help clients navigate their struggles and foster resilience, thereby contributing to improved mental health outcomes in the community.

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license for Mental Health Counseling, such as LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW.
• At least two years of relevant experience providing direct therapy and counseling services to individuals facing mental health challenges.
• In-depth knowledge of various therapeutic frameworks and the ability to adapt methods according to client needs.
• Exceptional listening skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong communication abilities to effectively collaborate with clients, their families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Adherence to ethical guidelines and a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.

• Experience working in a telehealth setting or remote therapy practice is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records systems to document client interactions efficiently.
• Familiarity with a range of evidence-based therapies and a commitment to integrating new, effective practices into your work.
