Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate clients' emotional and psychological states and formulate appropriate treatment plans.
  • Design and implement individualized therapeutic interventions based on clients' unique needs and goals, utilizing evidence-based methodologies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and solution-focused therapy.
  • Engage clients in meaningful conversations, helping them navigate their thoughts and emotions, while providing a safe and non-judgmental environment for exploration.
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and other mental health specialists, to ensure comprehensive care delivery for clients.
  • Document all client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately and maintain confidentiality per HIPAA standards.
  • Participate in weekly team meetings and case consultations, contributing insights based on your clinical expertise and experiences.
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments in mental health practices and engage in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will predominantly involve adults and youth dealing with a variety of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship challenges. You will have the opportunity to create meaningful therapeutic relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds, enhancing their overall well-being and resilience.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctorate degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • A valid state license or certification as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • At least two years of experience providing direct mental health counseling services.
  • Strong understanding of various therapeutic approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and integrative methods.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with an emphasis on active listening and building rapport with clients.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and skill in maintaining accurate client documentation.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in remote therapy settings and proficiency with telehealth platforms.
  • Background in working with a diverse client population and understanding of culturally competent care.
  • Familiarity with clinical supervision and mentoring of less experienced counselors.
