About the Role

Tarsus is seeking a highly motivated Manager II, Program Management Operations (Reporting & Systems) to support the advancement of a growing pipeline across early- and late-stage development. This role reports to the Director, Program Management and partners cross-functionally to enhance program planning, reporting, and systems utilization.

The Manager II, Program Management Operations will focus on automated reporting, data visibility, and enterprise program management tools (e.g., MS Project Server, Planisware, Planview), helping to improve consistency, efficiency, and transparency across Operations. This role supports scalable execution through strong coordination, data integrity, and alignment across teams.

Let's talk about some of the key responsibilities of the role:

  • Support cross-functional teams with program planning, tracking, and execution
  • Build and manage dashboards, KPIs, and reports for leadership
  • Turn data into clear insights and actionable recommendations
  • Own and enhance program management systems (e.g., Planview, Planisware, MS Project)
  • Improve data quality, reporting consistency, and system adoption
  • Drive automation and process improvements to increase efficiency
  • Partner with IT on systems integration and enhancements
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives and keep teams aligned
  • Drive adoption of new tools and processes (change management)

Factors for Success:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • 8 years of experience in program management, operations, or systems (biotech/pharma preferred).
  • Experience supporting drug development programs
  • Hands-on experience including implementation of program management tools (Planview, Planisware, MS Project)
  • Strong skills in data/reporting tools
  • Proven ability to work across teams and communicate effectively
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

At Tarsus, we understand the importance of attracting and retaining top talent. The expected base pay range for this position is $134,200 - $188,000 plus bonus, stock equity, and comprehensive benefits. The base pay range reflects the target range for this position, but individual pay will be determined by additional factors such as job-related skills, experience and relevant education or training.
