Remote Regional Manager information

What is a remote regional manager?

A Remote Regional Manager is a professional responsible for overseeing business operations, sales, or teams within a specific geographic region, while working remotely rather than from a central office. They coordinate with local staff, develop regional strategies, ensure targets are met, and report on regional performance. This role often involves virtual meetings, digital communication, and occasional travel to the region for site visits. Remote Regional Managers need strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to manage teams and deliver results from a distance.

How does a remote regional manager effectively collaborate with on-site teams across different locations?

A Remote Regional Manager typically leverages various digital communication tools—such as video conferencing, project management software, and instant messaging platforms—to maintain regular and clear contact with on-site teams. Establishing structured meeting schedules and setting clear expectations helps bridge the distance and ensures alignment on regional goals. Additionally, strong focus on relationship-building, transparent reporting, and timely feedback are essential for fostering trust and driving team performance, even when working remotely. Successful managers often visit key sites periodically to strengthen team connections and gain firsthand insights.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a remote regional manager, and why are they important?

To excel as a Remote Regional Manager, you need strong leadership, strategic planning, and organizational skills, typically supported by a bachelor's degree in business or a related field. Familiarity with CRM platforms, project management tools, and virtual communication systems is essential for overseeing distributed teams and operations. Exceptional communication, self-motivation, and problem-solving abilities are critical soft skills for managing remotely and fostering team cohesion. These skills ensure effective regional oversight, goal achievement, and strong team performance in a remote work environment.

Regional Onboarding and Client Lifecycle Lead

United States or Cayman Islands

Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Remote

CSC is transforming onboarding into a global Client Lifecycle Management organization, creating a consistent, scalable, and client-centric operating model across the end-to-end client journey. The Regional Onboarding & Client Lifecycle Lead is a senior leadership role responsible for regional onboarding delivery today and, over time, for expanding ownership across the full client lifecycle (including periodic reviews, trigger events, maintenance, and offboarding). This role drives operational performance, stakeholder alignment, and regulatory outcomes across multiple jurisdictions while delivering an exceptional client experience. The successful candidate will shape and implement standardized processes, governance, and reporting to support CSC's client lifecycle strategy.

Some of the things you will be doing:

  • Lead regional onboarding operations and evolve the function toward end-to-end client lifecycle management, including periodic reviews, trigger events, client maintenance, and offboarding
  • Manage, coach, and develop a geographically dispersed team of Client Lifecycle Managers; set clear objectives, performance expectations, and development plans
  • Ensure efficient, client-focused, and compliant onboarding and lifecycle execution across jurisdictions, aligned to AML, KYC, CDD, sanctions, FATCA, CRS, and local regulatory requirements
  • Act as senior escalation point for complex cases, service risks, and stakeholder concerns; drive timely resolution and clear decision-making
  • Standardize processes and drive adoption of global operating procedures to improve turnaround times, quality outcomes, and service level performance
  • Deliver operational excellence by removing friction, reducing cycle times, improving case ownership, and supporting automation/workflow tooling and technology improvements
  • Partner with regional business leaders, relationship managers, compliance, KYCS teams, and operations stakeholders; represent the region in governance forums and transformation initiatives
  • Own regional performance management, including KPIs, management information, data quality, controls, and audit/regulatory readiness

What technical skills, experience and qualifications do you need?

  • Significant leadership experience in onboarding, client lifecycle management, KYC/AML operations, or related operational functions within corporate services, financial services, fund administration, or banking
  • Proven experience leading large, geographically dispersed teams and building a high-performance, accountability-driven culture
  • Strong working knowledge of AML, KYC, CDD, sanctions screening, beneficial ownership, and multi-jurisdiction regulatory compliance frameworks
  • Demonstrated success delivering operational transformation, process standardization, or organizational change at scale
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including influencing senior leaders across multiple business functions
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities with a data-driven approach to performance improvement
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate risk and operational requirements into clear action

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience operating in a global, multi-jurisdictional environment across EMEA, Americas, or APAC
  • Experience implementing onboarding, workflow, or client lifecycle management technology solutions and automation initiatives
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement certification
  • Project or program management experience leading cross-functional delivery
  • Familiarity with CSC products, services, and client segments

*At CSC, compensation decisions are dependent on a number of factors including job location and the knowledge and experience of each individual. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $139,663.88 to $160,546.77
