Spring Flow Center for Counseling Services is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team in Plano, Texas. This full-time position allows for a flexible remote work setting while primarily operating within our outpatient office. As an LMFT with Spring Flow Center, you will operate in a hybrid environment, working both remotely and from our outpatient office located in Plano, Texas. Our team of mental health professionals engages regularly through case consultations, team meetings, and a variety of learning opportunities to enhance treatment strategies, particularly in the area of mood disorders.

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that align with client goals, preferences, and recognized therapeutic approaches.
• Utilize evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate effective treatment.
• Provide psychoeducation and emotional support for individuals and families regarding treatment options and self-care strategies.
• Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on client progress and feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care tailored to client needs.
• Stay current with developments and research in the field of mood disorders to refine treatment methodologies.
• Maintain detailed, confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.
• Actively participate in professional development activities to enhance personal skills and therapeutic effectiveness.
• Advocate for clients by addressing societal stigma surrounding mental health and ensuring their voices are heard and needs met.

The primary focus of your role will be working with individuals experiencing mood disorders such as major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, and anxiety disorders. Your expertise will be pivotal in guiding clients from diverse backgrounds, including those facing significant life challenges, such as homelessness, refugee status, or domestic abuse. Your compassionate and empathetic approach will foster trust and facilitate open communication, essential elements for effective therapy.

• Current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated ability to establish secure therapeutic relationships through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to balance administrative tasks with client responsibilities.

While all qualified therapists are encouraged to apply, preferred candidates will have prior experience in mood disorder treatment, particularly in the use of CBT and DBT. Familiarity with community resources and an understanding of the unique challenges faced by at-risk populations will be advantageous.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
