You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and other therapists, to ensure holistic care for our clients. • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the depth and frequency of clients' mood disorder symptoms, understanding their unique emotional and psychological landscapes.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans tailored to each client’s specific goals, preferences, and clinical needs, utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Provide regular educational support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to enhance treatment adherence.
• Continuously monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed based on feedback and ongoing assessments.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to integrate care and improve client outcomes.
• Stay informed of the latest research and therapeutic advancements related to mood disorders to refine and optimize treatment strategies.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• Engage in case consultations, participate in team meetings, and pursue professional development opportunities to enhance therapeutic skills.
• Advocate for clients’ needs and promote mental health awareness within the community to combat stigma and improve access to care.

The primary client base includes individuals and families navigating mood disorders along with other challenges such as homelessness, refugee status, and domestic abuse. As an integral part of our team, you will serve a population that requires understanding, empathy, and specialized support tailored to their diverse experiences and backgrounds.

• Must possess an active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for establishing trust and rapport with clients.
• Exhibit empathy, understanding, and a nonjudgmental attitude, fostering a safe therapeutic environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to balance clinical responsibilities and administrative duties effectively.

• Previous experience working with diverse populations, particularly those facing mood disorders and complex social challenges.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms is advantageous.
• Knowledge of community resources and support services that can further assist our clients in their treatment journey.
