Life Reconcile Counseling Services is actively seeking a dedicated and culturally competent Licensed Mental Health Therapist for a full-time remote position. This role offers the opportunity to work within a vibrant, multicultural outpatient psychiatry office aimed at providing high-quality mental health care. You will be responsible for offering tailored therapeutic interventions to diverse populations, ensuring accessible and effective mental health services for all patients.

This position is entirely remote, offering flexibility to adapt your schedule to meet both your needs and those of our patients. However, typical hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. There may be occasions when adjustments to your schedule are necessary to accommodate patient appointments, ensuring continuous and responsive care.

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments that honor patients' unique experiences and cultural backgrounds to formulate effective treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individual and group needs, fostering a supportive healing environment.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing mental health challenges and enhancing resilience.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure integrated care and optimal patient outcomes.
• Offer crisis intervention services and support during mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate and compassionate care.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatments, and community resources, empowering them to be active participants in their care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
• Engage in case conferences, team meetings, and cultural competency training to continuously enhance team collaboration and personal development.
• Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in mental health therapy, particularly in culturally responsive approaches.

Your patients will represent a diverse spectrum of backgrounds, highlighting the importance of cultural competence and sensitivity in your treatment approaches. You will work with individuals from varying ethnicities and cultures, LGBTQ+ individuals, and new immigrants, addressing their specific mental health concerns with understanding and respect.

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.
• Robust knowledge of mental health disorders and a track record of applying evidence-based practices within clinical settings.
• Proven experience in delivering therapy in a culturally responsive manner, with an emphasis on inclusivity.
• Outstanding crisis intervention capabilities and a calm demeanor in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with diverse individuals and groups.
• Competence in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant technological tools.
• Commitment to upholding professional boundaries, ethical standards, and confidentiality in all interactions.
• A collaborative spirit, able to function well within a multidisciplinary team framework.

• Experience working within multicultural settings or practices, specifically in out-patient environments.
• Previous engagement in community outreach or education programs targeted at mental health awareness.
• Experience with specific populations relevant to our practice, such as immigrant and refugee communities.
