This role is primarily remote, allowing our therapists to provide necessary support while maintaining personal comfort. • Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to assess the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms, formulating a comprehensive understanding of their unique challenges.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs, goals, and preferences, integrating empirically supported modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Provide psychoeducation and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, outlining available treatment options and promoting effective self-care strategies.
• Monitor and document client progress diligently, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care, facilitating coordinated interventions for clients with complex needs.
• Stay current with the latest research and advancements in the treatment of mood disorders to enhance therapeutic techniques and inform clients about new interventions.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, reflecting professionalism in documentation.
• Engage actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development opportunities, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the team.
• Advocate for clients, addressing mental health stigma and supporting their individualized needs throughout the treatment process.

This role primarily serves individuals grappling with mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Many clients may have faced significant life challenges such as homelessness, displacement due to crisis situations like domestic abuse or refugee status. Therefore, a deep understanding of these populations and a commitment to delivering trauma-informed care are essential in fostering trust and effective therapeutic relationships.

• An active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• Proficient in building secure therapeutic relationships through excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and a nonjudgmental approach toward clients’ experiences.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills essential for managing a full caseload and ensuring compliance with administrative tasks.

• Experience working with diverse populations and an understanding of cultural sensitivity in therapeutic approaches.
• Demonstrated knowledge and application of CBT and DBT in clinical practice.
• Previous experience in an outpatient setting, particularly in mental health services, is desired.

• Annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
