Rush Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team in a full-time remote position. Key Responsibilities

The LCSW will have a varied and impactful role, which includes but is not limited to:

• Conducting thorough assessments for clients exhibiting symptoms of major mental illness or severe emotional disorders, ensuring evidence-based practices are employed.
• Developing and implementing integrated care plans that connect clients with necessary services and resources, facilitating communication between clients, their families, and other healthcare providers.
• Providing therapeutic interventions, which may include individual therapy, group therapy, and family therapy tailored to the unique needs of each client.
• Carrying out ongoing monitoring of client progress and adapting treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving client needs.
• Offering crisis intervention as needed, positioning oneself as a reliable support during critical moments.
• Ensuring compliance with professional ethical guidelines and organizational standards, maintaining trust with clients and teammates alike.
• Participating in team meetings and contributing to agency-wide quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary client population includes individuals facing severe mental health challenges, particularly those from under-served communities in New Jersey. As an LCSW at Rush Counseling Center, you will play a pivotal role in providing culturally competent care, recognizing and respecting the diverse backgrounds of our clients. Your efforts will directly influence their recovery journeys, fostering empowerment and improved mental health outcomes.

Qualifications

To qualify for the LCSW position, candidates must possess the following:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid New Jersey LCSW license.
• At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience, ideally within a mental health or social service setting.
• Extensive knowledge of assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for various mental health disorders.
• Strong interpersonal skills, allowing for the formation of positive rapport with clients and colleagues.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

Preferred Experience

While not required, candidates with experience in crisis management, strong organizational skills, and familiarity with integrated care models will find their background advantageous in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this full-time LCSW position is competitive, offering between USD 70,000 – 85,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
