Job description

We are a small, women-owned boutique healthcare recruitment firm looking for an experienced Search Consultant who wants to help grow a company, not simply manage a list of open positions.

Because we are a small team, every person has a real impact. We need someone who understands direct-hire healthcare recruitment, can take ownership of the full search process, and has the drive to help us reach our next level. As the company succeeds, the people helping create that success should succeed with it.

This is a full-time, remote position. Would prefer someone in the St. Louis area. Must live in the USA.

THE ROLE

As a Search Consultant, you will manage the full recruitment process from initial client intake through placement. You will have the independence to develop and execute search strategies while working closely with company leadership and the rest of our team.

We conduct searches across healthcare, including allied health professionals, healthcare leaders, physicians, advanced practice providers, and executives. You should be comfortable learning new specialties, understanding different client needs, and managing searches at multiple levels.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Lead client intake meetings and develop a strong understanding of each position, organization, and community
  • Create and execute effective recruitment strategies
  • Identify and engage qualified candidates through direct outreach, networking, databases, professional associations, social media, and other sourcing methods
  • Screen candidates for qualifications, motivation, compensation expectations, cultural fit, and potential concerns
  • Prepare thoughtful and accurate candidate presentations
  • Manage communication with candidates throughout the interview and decision-making process
  • Maintain proactive and responsive communication with clients
  • Coordinate interviews, site visits, references, and other steps in the recruitment process
  • Advise clients on market conditions, candidate feedback, and potential barriers to a successful hire
  • Maintain accurate candidate, client, and search information in the company’s applicant tracking and CRM systems
  • Manage multiple searches and priorities without sacrificing responsiveness or attention to detail
  • Identify opportunities to introduce the company to new organizations or expand existing client relationships

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Direct-hire healthcare recruitment experience is required. We are flexible about the number of years because proven results, sound judgment, and the ability to manage searches independently matter more than an arbitrary number.

The right person will bring:

  • Successful experience recruiting healthcare professionals through direct-hire or retained search
  • The ability to manage the full recruitment process, not only sourcing or screening
  • Experience handling different types and levels of healthcare searches
  • Strong candidate sourcing and relationship-building skills
  • Confidence communicating with healthcare executives, clinical leaders, hiring managers, and candidates
  • Excellent written communication and the ability to present candidates professionally
  • Strong organization, follow-through, and attention to detail
  • The ability to work independently in a remote environment while remaining connected to the team
  • Creativity and persistence when a search is difficult
  • Accountability for placements, candidate pipelines, client satisfaction, and revenue
  • The initiative to improve how we work and contribute beyond an individual recruiting desk
  • A genuine desire to help grow the company and share in what we accomplish together

Experience recruiting physicians, APPs, healthcare executives, professional healthcare roles, or allied health professionals is highly valued. Experience with Salesforce or another applicant tracking or CRM platform is helpful.

WHY JOIN US?

This is an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution within a small company. Your ideas and results will be visible, and you will work directly with company leadership.

We are not looking for someone who only wants to fill assigned jobs. We want someone who sees the bigger picture, cares about the success of the company, and wants to help build what comes next.

Search Consultants are eligible for performance-based incentives, as well as additional compensation for originating new client relationships or expanding current clients into new departments. When your work helps the company succeed, you should share in that success.

Benefits include:

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Retirement plan
  • Paid time off
  • Paid holidays
  • Remote work
  • A collaborative and supportive team culture
  • The opportunity to help shape the company’s next stage of growth

We are an equal opportunity employer.
