• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and screenings to identify the mental health needs of students, ensuring accurate diagnosis and effective treatment planning.
• Provide short-term individual counseling sessions and crisis intervention support to students experiencing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and trauma.
• Design and facilitate group therapy sessions and workshops on topics like stress management, self-care, and resilience-building, tailored to the college student demographic.
• Collaborate proactively with campus faculty, academic advisors, and student organizations to develop a network of support systems that aid in the comprehensive well-being of students.
• Lead outreach and awareness campaigns that promote mental health initiatives, wellness events, and resources available to students.
• Maintain meticulous records of student interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes, ensuring compliance with both legal and ethical standards of confidentiality.

In this role, you will work primarily with college students who face a wide array of mental health concerns. Our patient population includes young adults navigating the complexities of academic life, social pressures, and personal challenges. You will play a crucial role in connecting with this demographic, leveraging your understanding of common stressors and mental health issues faced by them.

• An active and valid license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is essential.
• Strong understanding of the unique mental health challenges that college students encounter, along with applicable evidence-based treatment methodologies.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills to effectively engage with students and collaborate with diverse staff.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage a varied caseload, adapting approaches to fit individual student needs.

• At least two years of direct experience in a school, college counseling, or community mental health setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with telehealth practices and platforms to efficiently deliver remote mental health services.
• Experience in leading workshops or support groups geared toward young adults is advantageous.
