GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: As an GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: As an Energy Solutions Engineer , you will drive energy transformation by developing tailored, high-impact efficiency solutions for large industrial clients. You will bridge engineering with strategic business thinking, helping our clients reduce energy consumption, lower emissions, and reach their sustainability goals. Support the sales organization in thoroughly investigating new opportunities and preparing compelling proposals for internal and client approval.

The investigation process includes detailed energy performance modelling, energy savings forecasting, establishing initial control methodology, initial technical feasibility and high-level project costing in collaboration to with the EMENA projects team. Provide initial technical input in the project engineering and technical operations functions of the organisation. Develop client accounts by playing an active role in the account management function for the client sites previously established.

Actively promote the Energy Drive offering in the DACH region identified, requiring travel within this region and above as needed. Develop grant and rebate submissions within the region and provide support and advice to the Apogee Group in the identification and submission of proposals. Essential Duties And Typical Responsibilities - Key Activities Own the technical pre-sales process, from site investigation to proposal delivery Conduct detailed energy savings analyses, feasibility studies, and high-level costings Present proposals to internal forums and client stakeholders Build and maintain long-term relationships with key industrial clients in the DACH region Identify and secure grants or funding opportunities Technical Expertise & Project Support: Provide technical expertise during project execution, ensuring smooth handover and optimized system performance Collaborate with engineering teams to refine solutions and improve outcomes Support internal processes with engineering documentation and performance models Business Development & Continuous Improvement: Develop and maintain CRM pipeline and reports Promote Energy Drive's solutions across the DACH and broader EMENA regions Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering and sales functions Specific Responsibilities Own the technical pre-sales process from site investigation to proposal delivery Build and maintain long-term relationships with industrial clients in the DACH region Collaborate with parallel internal departments to present value-driven solutions Perform energy system audits and create savings models Support internal sign-off processes with engineering documentation and energy savings estimation Provide site-specific insights during project execution Support grant and rebate submissions Liaise with client technical staff and stakeholders for smooth project delivery SPECIFIC KPI's Ensure timely internal approval of project proposals according to EMENA targets Effectively conclude and present proposals to potential clients within 4 weeks of receiving all required data Effectively conclude and present commercial proposals to clients within 1 week of receiving final budgets from EMENA Project manager Identify, prepare and submit Grant, Rebate and/or other incentive proposals within EMENA regions Requirements KNOWLEDGE: Strong communication and presentation skills (verbal and written) Engineering degree (mechanical or electrical preferable) German on min.
