• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and develop personalized therapy plans tailored to their unique situations.
• Facilitate individual, couples, and family therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based treatment techniques to help clients explore their thoughts and feelings.
• Encourage clients to set realistic and achievable therapeutic goals, guiding them as they work towards those objectives.
• Maintain strict adherence to legal and ethical standards regarding client confidentiality and documentation.
• Stay engaged in ongoing professional education and training to ensure the utilization of the most current best practices in mental health counseling.

As an LCMHC at The Dream Works, Ltd, you will work with a varied client population, including individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds and age groups. Our clients may be experiencing a range of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions. You will provide an empathetic and understanding approach, fostering a safe space where clients can openly discuss their concerns and work towards healing.

• A Master’s degree or higher in Counseling or a related field, equipping you with the theoretical and practical knowledge needed for effective counseling.
• Active LCMHC licensure in the state of Vermont, validating your professional credentials and ability to practice independently.
• Demonstrated ability to engage and connect with a diverse clientele, adapting your therapeutic approach to meet their unique needs.
• Familiarity with a variety of evidence-based treatment methodologies, which may include cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness techniques, or other relevant approaches.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building rapport and trust with clients.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team framework, ensuring comprehensive and cohesive client care.

While a minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience is required, candidates with additional experience in specialized areas such as trauma-informed care, addiction counseling, or family therapy will be highly regarded. Experience using telehealth platforms can also be beneficial for facilitating remote therapy sessions.

The competitive salary range for this position is USD 80,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
