About the Opportunity

Key Responsibilities & Primary Functions

  • In-Depth Title Review & Examination:ย Perform rigorous title review, examining commitments, title search packages, underlying title documents, encumbrances, restrictions, and legal descriptions to identify and resolve title defects.
  • Commercial Title & Escrow Management:ย Assist in reviewing surveys (ALTA/NSPS), entity organization documents, municipal lien searches, and closing disclosures for complex multi-property and commercial real estate deals.
  • Transaction Coordination:ย Coordinate closing mechanics, draft escrow instructions, handle recording processes, and clear title exceptions directly with commercial underwriting counsel.
  • Client & Stakeholder Communication:ย Work closely with lenders, developers, commercial brokers, attorneys, and underwriters to ensure seamless, on-time closings.
  • Multi-State Due Diligence:ย Perform entity verifications, UCC filings, judgment searches, and compliance checks across local, state, and national jurisdictions.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience:ย 3+ years of commercial real estate or commercial title/escrow paralegal experience (Law firm, Title Agency, or National Underwriter background preferred).
