Remote Ranch Jobs in Wyoming (NOW HIRING)

Remote Ranch information

What are some common challenges faced by remote ranch managers and how can they be overcome?

Remote ranch managers often face challenges related to coordinating staff and overseeing daily operations while not being physically present on-site. To overcome these challenges, successful managers rely on clear communication channels, frequent virtual check-ins, and utilizing remote monitoring technologies that provide real-time updates on livestock and land conditions. Building a strong, trustworthy on-site team is essential, as is implementing protocols for routine reporting and problem escalation. These practices help ensure smooth operations, quick response to issues, and effective team collaboration, even from a distance.

What is a Remote Ranch job?

A Remote Ranch job typically involves working on a ranch while living in a remote or rural location. Responsibilities can vary but often include animal care, land maintenance, farming, or guest services if the ranch operates as a lodge. Some positions may also involve virtual administrative tasks for ranch operations. These jobs can be seasonal or full-time, depending on the employer’s needs. Remote Ranch jobs are ideal for those who enjoy outdoor work and self-sufficient living.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the Remote Ranch position, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Remote Ranch Manager, candidates typically need strong experience in ranch management, animal husbandry, and land stewardship, often supported by an agricultural science degree or equivalent hands-on experience. Familiarity with digital management tools for scheduling, remote monitoring systems (such as livestock tracking apps), and basic budgeting or reporting software is highly valuable. Outstanding self-motivation, communication, and problem-solving skills help remote managers coordinate teams, vendors, and operations from a distance. These abilities are crucial to ensure the productivity, safety, and sustainability of ranch operations, even when leadership is not physically onsite.

Job description

Description

Summary:

Who We Are

Brush Creek Ranch is a luxury guest ranch in the Snowy Range mountains of Wyoming — and The Cheyenne Club is where our culinary program reaches its highest expression. We're looking for a Chef de Cuisine who is ready to lead a world-class fine dining kitchen, develop a talented culinary team, and bring a genuine passion for seasonal, locally inspired cuisine to one of the most extraordinary ranch resort settings in the American West.

We are hiring a Sales Coordinator to support the Brush Creek Ranch sales team. This is a part-time, flexible hospitality sales support role — averaging approximately 20 hours per week — for an organized, detail-oriented professional with a genuine passion for luxury ranch hospitality, group sales, and creating memorable guest experiences. Local candidates near Encampment, Wyoming are preferred, but we are open to qualified remote candidates with relevant hospitality sales or resort sales experience. Whether you're an experienced hotel sales coordinator, a resort events coordinator, or an organized hospitality professional looking for luxury ranch sales coordinator jobs in Wyoming or remote hospitality sales support roles, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

What You'll Do

  • Support the Brush Creek Ranch sales team by managing incoming group and event inquiries, preparing proposals, and coordinating bookings from initial inquiry through confirmation — representing one of Wyoming's most celebrated luxury ranch properties
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding group, meeting, wedding, and event needs — and communicating all relevant details to internal operations teams for seamless luxury ranch event execution
  • Prepare and distribute sales agreements, event documentation, group resumes, banquet event orders (BEOs), and other sales correspondence with accuracy and professionalism
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date records in the property's sales and CRM systems — ensuring all leads, bookings, and client communications are accurately tracked across all group and event accounts
  • Assist with site visits, property tours, familiarization trips, and special sales events that support Brush Creek Ranch business development and client engagement
  • Respond promptly to sales inquiries via phone and email — qualifying opportunities and coordinating with the appropriate Sales Manager to ensure timely, professional follow-up
  • Support the Director of Sales with reporting, sales presentations, forecasting documentation, and other administrative projects as needed
  • Serve as a knowledgeable and responsive point of contact for clients and internal departments — representing Brush Creek Ranch with professionalism, warmth, and the exceptional service standards of a luxury ranch property
  • Collaborate closely with ranch operations teams to help ensure every group and event experience reflects Brush Creek Ranch's luxury hospitality standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What You'll Bring

  • Previous experience in hospitality, hotel or resort sales, luxury ranch events, guest services, or administrative support preferred — we are happy to train an organized, service-oriented candidate with the right attitude and a genuine interest in luxury ranch hospitality
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills — with the ability to create polished client correspondence and maintain professional relationships on behalf of a world-class Wyoming ranch resort
  • Strong organizational and time management skills — with the ability to prioritize multiple group and event projects and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment
  • A collaborative, positive attitude and a genuine commitment to delivering exceptional guest and client experiences
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office — including Outlook, Word, and Excel; experience with Delphi, Amadeus, Salesforce, or other CRM and hotel sales systems is a strong plus
  • A proactive, detail-oriented approach and the ability to work independently while remaining closely connected with the Brush Creek Ranch sales team — whether on-site or remote
  • A genuine passion for luxury hospitality, group and event sales, and creating memorable guest experiences at one of Wyoming's most celebrated destination ranch resorts

Other information:

What You Can Look Forward To

  • Part-time, flexible schedule averaging approximately 20 hours per week — with hours varying based on business needs and seasonal demand
  • Location flexibility — local candidates near Encampment, Wyoming preferred; qualified remote candidates with relevant hospitality experience welcome to apply
  • Unlimited referral bonuses
  • 401(k) with company match after 1 month
  • Ranch-provided employee housing available at a subsidized rate
  • 3 meals per day at no cost to the associate
  • Access to hiking, mountain biking, and fishing on neighboring national forest land
  • Numerous employee engagement activities and a positive work environment
  • Discounts on hotel rooms, dining, and other travel and entertainment experiences
  • Multiple opportunities for growth across our luxury ranch network
  • Full-time and seasonal associates also receive:
    • Medical, dental, and vision insurance — starting day 1
