The 'remote' aspect means the job can involve travel to various locations or allow some administrative tasks to be completed offsite. To qualify, drivers usually need a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and must follow strict safety regulations set by both the Department of Transportation and railroad companies. Additionally, drivers may need to be flexible and self-sufficient, as communication with supervisors and dispatchers is typically managed through remote channels.
