Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, trucks, and trailers.
  • Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic equipment and tools.
  • Inspect and test vehicle systems for safety and performance.
  • Replace or repair components such as brakes, transmissions, and electrical systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve shop efficiency and safety.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while on the job.
  • Stay updated on the latest diesel technology and repair techniques.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a diesel mechanic with commercial vehicles.
  • Valid CDL license preferred; ASE certification is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines and related systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
