Job description

About the Role

Marketplace and American Public Media recently formed the Public Radio Business

Network to deepen our editorial relationships with our 800+ partner stations. The network is designed to prioritize collaboration, add a local lens to the economic storytelling audiences rely on and amplify regional content for Marketplace shows. We are looking for an experienced collaborative multichannel leader who wants to build something new and help the public media ecosystem thrive.

As we gain a deeper understanding of station needs, the Station Engagement Editor will also serve as a creative guide for new content that supports and draws on the network. Rooted in audio and the needs of our partner stations across the country, this work will create meaningful multi-platform programming, which is critical to establishing sustainable revenue for stations.
