Relative Dynamics is currently seeking an RF Engineer (Space Communications) to work on NASA Human Space Flight Missions such as Orion and Dragon and upcoming Lunar Missions. This position is located in Houston, TX.
What You'll Get to Do:
  • Perform Radio Frequency interference and compatibility analysis for space based communication systems
  • Determine the performance of Radio Frequency (RF) communication links and create link budgets using analytical methods or by applying analysis and simulation tools
  • Perform data reductions analyze and document results for presentation to customers
  • Perform R&D tasks on experimental projects for upcoming communication technologies. The position may be filled on level lower

What You'll Need:
  • Must be U.S. Citizen
  • BS degree in engineering from an accredited engineering school or B.S. in mathematics, physics, or computer sciences
  • 2 + years of relevant experience
  • High knowledge of digital communications and RF system analysis
  • Familiar with antennas antenna polarization power spectral density & spectral roll-off Power flux density Noise density and CCSDS standards
  • Familiar with analysis software such as Matlab and Simulink
  • Willing to relocate to Houston TX is preferred
