A seven-time Inc. 5000 honoree and founding member of the Professional Background Screening Association (PBSA, formerly NAPBS), ClearStar has provided innovative technology solutions to businesses in the human capital management industry from its corporate offices in Alpharetta, Georgia, since 1995. Since 2020, ClearStar has been a portfolio company of Hanover Investor Management, a London-based private equity firm. By joining ClearStar, you will have the unique opportunity to learn from industry leaders while making an impact on the lives of others. No matter where you are located, you're a valued member of the team. In our remote-first culture, we value trust, flexibility, outcomes and results. You will have access to digital tools and resources that keep everyone connected and collaboration at the forefront. We believe that success comes from empowered individuals working together, and we're committed to ensuring you feel supported, engaged, and set up for success - wherever you are.

Why ClearStar Needs You:
The QA Manager plays a critical role in ensuring quality, accuracy, and consistency across our global operations. This role is responsible for strengthening quality standards, enhancing compliance, and driving continuous improvement to support an exceptional client experience. You will leverage both traditional QA methodologies and AI-enabled tools to scale quality and improve operational performance.
What You'll Do:
  • Lead the Quality Assurance function across global operations
  • Develop and implement quality frameworks, scorecards, and audit methodologies
  • Monitor and analyze quality metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities
  • Conduct audits and ensure alignment with FCRA and regulatory requirements
  • Drive root cause analysis and support corrective action planning
  • Standardize quality processes and maintain clear, consistent documentation
  • Deliver regular reporting and insights to leadership on quality performance
  • Facilitate calibration sessions to ensure consistency in quality standards
  • Support training initiatives to strengthen frontline performance
  • Partner with Operations, Compliance, Product, and Engineering to enhance workflows
  • Own and optimize AI-enabled QA tools, including automated scoring and anomaly detection
  • Configure and refine prompt-based review logic and quality automation workflows
  • Support the ongoing enhancement of QA systems and automation capabilities

What You'll Need:
  • 5+ years of experience in quality assurance, operations, or compliance within a regulated environment
  • Strong knowledge of FCRA, verification processes, and quality standards
  • Experience developing or enhancing QA programs and audit processes
  • Hands-on experience with AI-enabled QA tools, automation workflows, or conversational AI platforms
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience supporting audits, compliance, and risk management efforts
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders
  • Experience leading or mentoring team members
  • Strong attention to detail and sound professional judgment
  • PBSA Certification preferred
  • A dedicated home office space that is noise- and distraction-free with access to a reliable and secure high-speed internet connection. Cable or fiber internet connections (at least 75mbps download/10mbps upload) are preferred, as satellite connections often cannot support the technologies used to perform day-to-day task.

Who You Are:
This role is for you if you take pride in delivering high-quality work and maintaining strong standards. You are analytical, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused. You are comfortable working with both data and technology, and you bring a proactive approach to improving processes and outcomes. You communicate effectively across teams and are committed to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
