Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive evaluations and assessments to ascertain the needs and challenges of clients in detox.
  • Developing and implementing Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP) that outline the goals and services required for each client.
  • Monitoring client progress throughout their detox process and adjusting plans as necessary, collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Providing emotional and practical support to clients and their families, empowering them to navigate the challenges of detoxification.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant Federal and State regulations regarding social work practice.
  • Creating a rapport with clients and families to foster a supportive and trusting therapeutic environment.
  • Utilizing evidence-based practices and the Natural Learning Environment Practices to build effective strategies for development and recovery.
  • Delivering coaching and education to families, equipping them with knowledge and skills necessary for enhancing their loved oneโ€™s recovery journey.
  • Upholding the highest standards of health and safety for all individuals we serve.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will specifically target clients who are navigating the complexities of detoxification. This includes individuals from diverse backgrounds facing substance dependency issues. Many clients may also be part of vulnerable populations with unique social, economic, and cultural challenges. Your interventions will be crucial in helping them re-establish personal agency and family connections during this critical time.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A Masterโ€™s Degree or Doctorate in Social Work.
  • Licensure from the Department of Public Health as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is required.
  • A valid driverโ€™s license to facilitate any needed travel for community outreach.
  • Ability to tailor approaches to meet the varied learning styles and needs of each client and their family.
  • Demonstrated experience working with clients in early intervention or detox settings is highly desirable.
  • A strong commitment to Natural Learning Environment Practices and holistic care methodologies.

Preferred Experience
