This position is pivotal in delivering high-quality mental health services in a school setting, where you will provide support to students facing various emotional and psychological challenges. Your expertise and guidance will be instrumental in enhancing the emotional well-being of our clients through tailored therapeutic interventions and support.

About the Organization

Heart Share Healthcare Center is committed to making mental health services readily accessible and effective for individuals of all ages. Our organization prides itself on fostering a nurturing environment conducive to healing, growth, and empowerment. Specializing in a range of mental health conditionsโ€”including depression, anxiety disorders, and trauma-related issuesโ€”we implement evidence-based therapies to ensure that each client receives personalized care tailored to their unique needs.

Work Environment

This full-time position allows you to work remotely, providing you with the flexibility to manage your schedule while making a tangible difference in the lives of students. Although you will primarily work online, the role may occasionally involve collaboration with school professionals and outreach efforts to ensure holistic support for our clients. The flexibility of remote work combines seamlessly with our commitment to supporting our team members' work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to gather essential information regarding studentsโ€™ mental health issues, strengths, and resources, thereby establishing a foundation for effective intervention.
  • Deliver individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and trauma-focused therapy, adapting techniques as needed based on clients' progress.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that outline specific goals and therapeutic interventions, tracking progress and making adjustments to enhance outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and psychologists, ensuring that all care providers are aligned to deliver coordinated and comprehensive care.
  • Provide crisis intervention and develop safety plans as necessary, responding swiftly to students in distress and facilitating access to urgent care resources.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, adhering to ethical and legal standards to ensure compliance and effective communication among team members.
  • Facilitate psychoeducation classes and support groups that foster community and education among students, providing them with tools to manage their emotional health.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily involve supporting school-aged children and adolescents dealing with emotional and behavioral difficulties. This may include addressing challenges stemming from academic pressures, family dynamics, and social interactions. Your role will be vital in equipping these individuals with coping strategies that promote resilience and well-being, positively impacting their academic and personal lives.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, demonstrating advanced knowledge of therapeutic practices.
  • An active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), ensuring compliance with state regulations and standards in practice.
  • At least two years of clinical experience in a mental health or outpatient setting, with a focus on evidence-based practice.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, essential for effectively interacting with clients, families, and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in various therapeutic modalities and treatment approaches that support evidence-based practices.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working within educational settings and an understanding of the unique challenges faced by youth in schools.
  • Familiarity with school mental health programs and community resources available for students and families.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with educational staff and parents to create an integrated support system for students.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

  • Comprehensive health insurance, encompassing medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Retirement savings plans with employer contributions to aid in your long-term financial planning.
  • Generous paid time off policy, including vacation days, personal days, and recognized holidays.
  • Continuing education and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and foster career growth.
  • Insurance options aimed at ensuring you stay healthy and secure.

At Heart Share Healthcare Center, we value the professional development of our employees and provide numerous opportunities for advancement within our organization. You will have access to training programs, mentorship from experienced professionals, and the chance to participate in interdisciplinary teams that will broaden your expertise and career prospects.
