• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate the emotional and psychological well-being of clients.
• Design, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans that cater to each client's unique needs and therapeutic goals.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions through individual, family, and group therapy sessions, employing various methodologies to best support client progress.
• Regularly monitor and adjust treatment plans based on client feedback and progress, ensuring the highest standard of care.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention to clients experiencing acute distress or mental health emergencies.
• Maintain comprehensive, accurate, and confidential client records in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.
• Collaborate closely with your multi-disciplinary team to guarantee an integrated approach to client care, sharing insights and strategies to enhance treatment effectiveness.
• Stay informed on the latest developments and best practices in mental health treatment to continually refine your clinical skills.
• Participate actively in professional development opportunities, including supervision and training sessions, to enhance your therapeutic techniques.
• Adhere strictly to ethical guidelines and professional standards set forth by relevant licensing boards and organizations.

You will primarily work with individuals facing a wide array of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse disorders, and severe psychiatric conditions. Through your expertise, you will assist clients in the county jail system, helping them navigate their challenges and promoting their mental wellness.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• Current state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW).
• Demonstrated ability in clinical assessment and diagnosis with a strong foundation in therapeutic practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, complemented by strong interpersonal abilities.
• A compassionate and empathetic approach to client care, demonstrating commitment to their well-being.
• Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.
• In-depth knowledge of ethical guidelines and laws that regulate mental health practices.
