• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to diagnose and treat a variety of mental health disorders, adapting treatment plans as necessary based on patient progress.
• Develop individualized care plans that align with each client’s needs, goals, and available community resources to foster their well-being.
• Collaboratively work with a multidisciplinary team to formulate discharge plans that ensure continuity of care as clients transition to next steps in their treatment.
• Provide referrals to relevant external services, including support groups and specialists, thereby broadening the scope of care for your clients.
• Maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Vatica’s clinical standards and the Mental Health Practice Act.
• Engage proactively with client care teams to coordinate effective communication, identify delays, and address issues that may impede client treatment.
• Facilitate educational discussions with clients and families on mental health matters, advocating for their needs through effective communication with both clinical and non-clinical resources.
• Document and keep meticulous records using our secure HIPAA-compliant digital platform, ensuring patient confidentiality is upheld.
• Provide crisis intervention and social work consultations, offering vital support during challenging emotional moments.
• Act as a guide and mentor to colleagues, particularly in cases involving adverse client experiences, enhancing workplace wellness.

The clients we serve at Vatica Counseling Center include diverse individuals grappling with various mental health issues, ranging from mild anxiety and depression to more complex behavioral disorders. Our emphasis is on creating tailored treatment plans that respect the unique backgrounds, experiences, and needs of every client, ensuring they feel valued and understood throughout their therapeutic journey.

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current State Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Psychologist.
• A solid understanding of community mental health resources to aid in comprehensive patient care.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to build rapport and trust with clients.

• Experience in community mental health settings, providing direct counseling and support.
• Familiarity with case management and collaborative treatment planning.
• A proven track record of effective crisis intervention and problem-solving skills.

The successful candidate will receive a competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience. Additional incentives include a potential sign-on bonus of up to $1,000, flexible working hours, and a user-friendly app for case management.
