Position Title: Subject Matter Expert, Medium Range Intercept Capability (MRIC)
Work Location: Remote
Position Description:
The MRIC Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the GBAD Engineering and Logistics Program will be an expert in the acquisition and fielding of tactical information exchange and command and control systems with a specific focus on the MRIC components including interfaces to the Ground/Air Task Oriented Radar (G/ATOR), Israeli Iron Dome system and selected modules from the Common Aviation Command and Control System (CAC2S).
Responsibilities:
  • Actively participate in working groups supporting analysis, metrics, and requirements development
  • Provide SME support on the MRIC system to the Assistant Product Manager for Engineering (APdM-E) for MRIC.
  • Plan network design for the MRIC system and develop documentation.
  • Coordinate the procurement, build and testing of the CAC2S modules with NSWC Crane IN.
  • Coordinate integration events that test systems capabilities at the Dahlgren SIL.
  • Analyze system requirements, recommend test methods, and test approach.
  • Review all test reports from internal and external agencies, identify trends, deficiencies and improvements.
  • Identify T&E associated risks and provide input for risk resolution/mitigation.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Engineering, or related field desired
  • 10+ years' direct experience in the systems integration and testing field
  • Network design and integration experience required

Desired Certifications:
IT/Network design
* Must be proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook
Security Clearance Requirements:
This position requires obtaining and maintaining a SECRET security clearance.
Travel Requirements:
CONUS Travel for this effort is estimated to be 30-40% of total support annually.
