As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments of patients’ psychosocial needs to develop tailored treatment plans and appropriate referrals.
• Providing short-term counseling and crisis intervention in response to acute emotional distress or urgent mental health issues.
• Helping patients navigate their healthcare options by assisting with entitlement forms, supplemental insurance applications, and other benefit programs that reduce reliance on emergency assistance.
• Facilitating access to prescription medication assistance through community resources and pharmaceutical indigent programs.
• Acting as a patient advocate during interactions with community agencies, ensuring that patient rights and needs are prioritized.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions, including progress notes and treatment updates, while preparing necessary documentation as required.
• Coordinating transportation assistance for patients when needed, helping to remove barriers to care.
• Participating in clinical meetings and case conferences to foster knowledge sharing and improve treatment approaches across the team.

Your role will primarily involve working with a diverse range of clients experiencing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. • A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Counseling from an accredited institution.
• An active or independent professional license, including LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor), LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), or LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist).
• At least two years of professional experience in a clinical mental health setting, demonstrating expertise in therapeutic interventions and patient engagement.

While not required, candidates with additional certifications in trauma therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), or experience with telehealth platforms will be given special consideration. Experience advocating for under-resourced populations and navigating complex healthcare systems will enhance your ability to support our client base effectively.
