Medsien is seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in assisting patients in enrolling into various healthcare programs. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional communication skills, a strong understanding of medical terminology, and a passion for helping others access necessary healthcare services.
We provide highly personalized care for each patient. Patients have the same care partner - a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - that calls and stays in touch with the patient each month. The patients and care partners know each other well, building strong relationships and trust. Care partners know their patient's health and health history well, so they can provide comprehensive, continuous support to their patients. Patients and practices each see the Medsien care team as an extension of the practice. Strong relationships between patients and the care team build engagement, which improves patient health outcomes. Personalized care is a key component of Medsien programs' long-term success.
Responsibilities:
  1. Patient Enrollment: Guide patients through the enrollment process for healthcare programs, ensuring accurate and complete documentation.
  2. Program Eligibility Assessment: Evaluate patient eligibility for specific healthcare programs based on criteria provided, such as age, medical conditions, or other qualifying factors.
  3. Patient Consultation: Conduct comprehensive consultations with patients to gather necessary information and explain the benefits and requirements of various healthcare programs.
  4. Documentation and Record-Keeping: Accurately document patient information, enrollment details, and program eligibility assessments in electronic health records (EHR) or other designated systems.
