This role is fully remote, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions via secure telehealth platforms from anywhere in Texas. Our telehealth services ensure that both therapists and clients can engage comfortably and safely. You will be supported with all necessary resources, training on technology, and access to our comprehensive electronic health record systems to streamline client management and documentation.

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental and emotional well-being through virtual consultations.
• Evaluate clients’ needs, issues, and goals to design and implement appropriate treatment plans.
• Provide individual therapy tailored to clients of various ages, addressing a wide array of mental health concerns.
• Facilitate couples therapy sessions aimed at improving communication, resolving conflicts, and enhancing relationship satisfaction.
• Develop and adjust personalized treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and client feedback.
• Document all client interactions and treatment plans in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated and holistic care to clients.
• Stay current with the latest research, techniques, and best practices in marriage and family therapy.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training to enhance clinical skills.
• Advocate for clients’ rights, empowering them to make informed decisions about their treatment plans.

Your work at Great Lake Counseling & Coaching Center will primarily focus on providing therapy services to individuals, couples, and families navigating various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions. You will be equipped to support clients from diverse backgrounds, fostering inclusivity and cultural sensitivity in all therapeutic approaches.

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field is required.
• Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas.

• Previous experience providing individual or couples therapy is highly desirable.
• Experience working with children, adolescents, and adults to address varied mental health challenges.
• Ability to complete assessments and documentation promptly and accurately.
• Strong communication and writing skills, with comfort using electronic health record systems.
