• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand each client’s unique background and mental health needs.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate psychodynamic therapy techniques tailored to individual client experiences.
• Facilitate counseling sessions via telehealth, using interactive approaches to foster rapport and trust.
• Provide ongoing support through therapeutic interventions aimed at addressing anxiety, depression, addictions, trauma, and relationship issues.
• Incorporate cultural competency and mindfulness techniques within therapy, adapting practices to meet the diverse needs of clients.
• Document session notes and treatment progress in compliance with organizational and ethical standards.
• Engage in regular peer consultations and team meetings to enhance therapeutic approaches and share insights.

The therapists at Caring Heart Consultation and Counseling Center primarily work with clients experiencing various mental health conditions, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, trauma-related issues, and other emotional challenges. We cater to diverse populations and emphasize a culturally informed approach, allowing for individualized care that resonates with each client’s unique experiences and cultural backgrounds.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.
• Active and valid state license (LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT) that permits independent practice.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting comparable to our organization.
• Strong ability to integrate depth-oriented and culturally-sensitive approaches into therapy.
• Willingness to further enhance cultural competency through ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

• Experience with integrating holistic practices and mindfulness techniques into therapy sessions.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while contributing positively to a remote team environment.
• A background in providing therapy for issues related to familial dynamics and relational concerns is preferred.
