Job description

Position Summary:
ANSER is seeking an experienced staff action officer to serve as an Industry Engagement Analyst supporting an Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) client at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA. In this key role, you will assist the client in interacting with industry partners.
This position does not offer remote or hybrid work options with all job duties performed full-time onsite at the Pentagon.
Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative, logistical, and analytical support for the vetting, prioritization, planning, and execution of industry engagements, including the development of plans of actions and milestones, invitations, agendas, senior leader talking points, briefings and information papers, attendance rosters, meeting summaries, and tracking actions.
  • Coordinate with internal and external Department of Defense (DoD) stakeholders on all aspects of engagements meetings, including read-ahead development and distribution and Pentagon visitor protocols.
  • Track and analyze issues and priorities across engagements and coordinate progress with internal and external POCs.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures in accordance with DoD-level requirements.
  • Track metrics and develop methods for improving industry engagement processes and outcomes.
  • Maintain forum SharePoint sites and other collaboration tools.
  • Provide similar support to other engagement efforts, e.g., with stakeholders in academia or with international partners, on an as needed basis.
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks and projects and ensure timely delivery.


Required Qualifications:

  • Possess an active TS/SCI security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in a event planning, project management, business administration, government or other related field
  • 10+ years of professional experience or a high school diploma with 14+ years of professional experience
  • Experience coordinating events and / or meetings.
  • Experience supporting GO/FO/SES clients or similar senior leaders.
  • Experience developing and coordinating tasks in CATMS or similar task management and / or planning tools.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Software.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience supporting clients at the OSD level.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to take initiative, prioritize, plan, and execute with limited oversight in a fast-paced environment.
