JOB DESCRIPTION
Required Skills
  • 3+ years of hands-on prompt engineering experience, ideally with production LLM systems
  • Deep practical knowledge of prompting techniques: chain-of-thought, few-shot, tool use / function calling, system prompt design, and structured output
  • Experience writing prompts for agentic workflows - not just single-turn completions - including multi-step pipelines with tool calls and conditional routing
  • Familiarity with offline eval approaches: building golden datasets, writing evaluation criteria, and measuring prompt quality systematically
  • Experience with LLM observability and eval tooling - Confident AI, LangFuse, LangSmith, or similar
  • Hands-on experience with both Claude (Anthropic) and Gemini model families
  • Python scripting ability sufficient to interact with APIs, process evaluation outputs, and automate prompt testing
