Job description

NorthStar, a division of Harris; is seeking a Project Manager (PM) who is energetic and driven, with experience leading software implementations.

As a PM, you will partake in project planning and scheduling, and lead our consultants in the implementation of Utility Billing and Client Information Software (CIS) solutions to new and existing clients.

This PM opening is with our NorthStar business unit and reports to the Director of Professional Services.

This remote role welcomes candidates anywhere in Canada and the US in the EST timezone. Travel is required as needed, approximately 5%. Candidates must hold a current, valid passport and be legally eligible to travel internationally. This includes either passport based visa exemption or possession of any required travel visas for entry into Canada, the United States, and the Caribbean.

Salary:

90K CAD

  • Lead multi-functional project teams toward completing work deliverables for implementation of mission critical software packages
  • Review statement of work and create an effective project plan to deliver on specified solution
  • Provide updates and manage client expectations, ensuring delivery of highest quality software solution and customer service
  • Manage project financials
  • Proactively resolve project issues to mitigate delays and to reduce the impact on the client and project timelines
  • Conduct post implementation reviews to identify areas of improvement and apply learning

  • 5+ years managing enterprise or CIS software implementation projects
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Possess a deep understanding of all activities associated with software system implementations
  • Ability to maintain a calm demeanor in challenging situations
