Role Overview
•    Looking for a self-starter with strong organizational and communication skills.
•    Responsible for creating project plans, tracking tasks, managing timelines, removing blockers, and keeping the team accountable.
•    This section focuses on the main purpose of the job in one to four sentences.
•    Lead cross functional teams in complex engineering assignments , on a project by project basis .
•    May cross traditional product lines.
•    This section contains a list of five to eight primary responsibilities of this role that account for 5% or more of the work.
•    The incumbent will perform other duties assigned.
 
1. Independently plan, execute and direct cross functional engineering projects, that may cross traditional product lines. Diverse new approaches to problems encountered through adaptations and modifications of standard engineering principles.
2. Manage projects on a cross functional basis, including direct supervision of team members.
3. Manage the project costs (all financial aspects) of product development. This will include capital expenditures and cross functional expenses.
4. Identifying and resolve complex problems, including the development of new design experiments, without supervision. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

•    Develop task lists and basic project schedules.
•    Coordinate with a small team
•    Monitor project progress and escalate issues when needed.
•    Provide regular verbal status updates to the hiring manager (no formal executive reporting).

•    An engineering or manufacturing background is ideal.
•    Technical background is preferred to understand engineering discussions.
•    Medical device industry experience is a plus, but not required.
•    Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project is beneficial.
 
Interview
•    Two interview rounds.
