The Sales Development Representative position is the perfect opportunity to start and build a career in the SaaS software sales industry. As a Business Development Representative, you will work with a group of seasoned software sales and marketing professionals to generate sales leads. You will be on the front lines for generating interest and driving the pipeline for RefineRE's software offerings. BDRs make cold calls to prospects to identify decision-makers, generate interest, qualify sales leads, and set up appointments for Account Executives. The ideal candidate will thrive in a competitive, energetic, passionate, and customer-focused environment. Successful BDRs will be considered for advancement to higher-level sales positions within the department.
How YOU WILL make a difference

  • Generate new sales opportunities via prospecting and outreach. 
  • Achieve defined productivity goals.
  • Probe for prospect needs via phone and web research.
  • Set qualified prospect appointments for Account Executives.
  • Support specific marketing programs, lead generation campaigns, and targeted sales activities.
  • Strive for self-improvement and possess the curiosity to stay abreast of industry and market trends.
  • Successfully and accurately answer prospect questions and provide appropriate additional information to the sales team to start or continue the sales cycle.

  • Ability to explain technical solutions to a non-technical audience.
  • Ability to prospect for new business by phone for long hours.
  • Ability to build professional rapport by telephone with prospects at the Executive, or C level.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and organizational skills are required.
  • Ability to uncover opportunities via phone conversation through probing questions to create a vision for our prospects as to how they will benefit from our products and services.
