Job Overview:
Under the general supervision and direction of the Application Manager responsible for the IT Project Management Office, the project leader is delegated the responsibility and accountability to manage project deliverables from concept to completion following TriHealth information systems standard processes. The project leader also plans, directs and manages resources to ensure the quality and timeliness of projects. Training and compliance of TriHealth information system project management tools and processes facilitated by the project leader. Scope includes defining deliverables and understanding specifications, preparing requests for proposals, participating in system acquisition process, determining with customer the value metrics of the project and implementation. This position is also accountable for application development, modifications of existing and new systems, as well as customer support and consulting by providing information as appropriate to department management and the organization as a whole.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree
Equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree
Prior experience leading multi-disciplinary teams managing deliverables and issue resolution
Proven analytical abilities
Excellent written and communication skills
5-7 years experience
Experience in project management and related IT fields
Job Responsibilities:
Provides education/guidance/direction to project team members to ensure quality procedures, techniques and standards are being followed. Personally upholds these standards by the highest degree.
Ensures that project solutions, designs, requests for proposal, system acquisitions and modifications meet the goals and objectives of the requesting department.
Provides leadership to ensure project tasks are completed accurately and within the time estimated from the project schedule or scheduled completion date of request. This includes tasks assigned to all team members.
Performs definition, preliminary analysis, resource planning, project scheduling and develops project plan utilizing current methodologies and standards.
