• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and strengths.
• Develop personalized treatment plans using evidence-based interventions tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
• Implement therapeutic interventions such as solution-focused therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and mindfulness practices.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring the highest standards of documentation.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team, which may include teachers, administrators, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate holistic care for students.
• Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding mental health strategies, coping mechanisms, and available community resources.
• Stay informed on the latest mental health research and best practices to enhance your clinical skills and client outcomes.

Our clients primarily include school-aged children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges. This role requires a nuanced understanding of developmental psychology and the ability to engage younger populations. You will focus on trauma-informed care that respects the unique experiences of each child, working closely with families to integrate mental health support within their home and school environments.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid LCSW license to practice in New York State.
• At least two years of clinical experience in a similar setting, demonstrating a strong foundation in psychotherapy and client management.
• Proficiency in various therapeutic modalities, emphasizing solution-based psychotherapy interventions.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with clients, families, and peers effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in clinical situations.
• Experience working in a collaborative team environment.

• Experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is preferred.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and community mental health resources.
• Knowledge of culturally responsive approaches and the ability to work with a diverse clientele.
