Job description

The Project Manager (PM) position is expected to be an extremely competent engineer who has gained experience with multiple types of projects. Has shown ability to manage projects assigned so that they are completed on time and within the fee budget. The PM assures that the client shall receive the designs and opinions described in the contract between the firm and the client. The PM helps prepare project proposals with the Sr proposal Manager and may participate in presenting the proposal to the client. Participates in selecting the internal and external project team. Determines major project design decisions in conjunction with the client and project team. Assigns duties to project team, answer questions, monitors their progress. Checks accuracy of completed work. Maintains close relationship with client throughout development of project. Approves all changes to contract documents after completion of design phase. May be required to help collect fees from client. Maintains client contact after project is completed.
