• Engage with patients to thoroughly assess their mental health challenges, utilizing active listening and empathetic dialogue.
• Provide focused counseling interventions to aid individuals in resolving personal issues, utilizing evidence-based techniques and therapeutic modalities.
• Stay updated with the latest counseling best practices and integrate these techniques into client sessions to enhance treatment efficacy.
• When necessary, refer patients to additional mental health professionals or support services, forging a comprehensive network of care.
• Maintain professional and supportive rapport with patients throughout the counseling process, ensuring a non-judgmental and welcoming environment.
• Document clinical notes accurately and promptly, adhering to organizational protocols for record-keeping and accountability.
• Participate in case consultations and team meetings to enhance collective knowledge and clinical skills, contributing to a cohesive interdisciplinary team environment.

• Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Valid state-issued licensing to practice as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).

• Proficient in developing treatment plans tailored to specific patient needs.
• Strong organizational skills for maintaining accurate clinical records and documentation.
• The ability to articulate therapeutic concepts effectively both orally and in writing.

• Strong judgment skills to make informed decisions based on ethical standards and professional knowledge.

• Experience in a telehealth setting or familiarity with virtual counseling practices is highly desirable.
• Prior work experience dealing with a variety of mental health issues, particularly in diverse populations.
• Knowledge of modern therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, or other evidence-based practices.
• Experience with case management or coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
