Job Title: Project Manager – Interoperability Duration : Contract to Hire Location : Canton, MA or Remote Position Description Seeking a seasoned Project Manager with knowledge of healthcare domain, to oversee and drive the client's strategic technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing comprehensive technical / business initiatives to support growth by effectively utilizing project management principles and methodologies for a portfolio of projects. This candidate would liaison with diverse stakeholders across business and technology domains to ensure the integrity and success of the project, and at the same time build and maintain strong partnerships across various departments in the organization. This role requires a key focus on situational leadership, escalation strategy, navigating complex dynamics and executive communication. The Project Manager works with Executive/Business sponsors to successfully implement new capabilities and support operational processes by managing the end-to-end delivery of enterprise-wide projects. At CGI you will be part of a team committed to providing outstanding services to our clients across multiple industries across the globe. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage all the phases of project management life cycle from ideation to closure, including but not limited to budgeting, change management and external vendor management thereby driving successful execution of the projects in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Lead the implementation of tools and methodologies that are used by the delivery teams to manage project scope, schedule, budget, risk and resource allocations/management for both Agile and/or Waterfall projects.
  • Organize teams across multiple workstreams, facilitate communication between cross functional teams and develop professional relationships to communicate through all levels from individual contributors to IT/Business leadership.
  • Identify, manage, track and mitigate potential technical risks that could impact project success.
  • Escalate issues and challenges through the appropriate organization chain of command along with proposed mitigations and strategies.
  • Coach and mentor fellow project coordinators / project managers and effectively lead in a matrix environment.
  • Ability to influence project sponsor, owner, project teams and extended stakeholders and provide thought leadership and successfully drive the organizational initiatives to closure.
  • Lead the development of content for Program Stakeholder and/or Executive Steering meetings as needed and report program status per the organization guidelines.
  • Leveraging outstanding verbal and written skills to effectively manage challenging dynamics. Drive innovation by understanding the application landscape and identifying opportunities for improvement and mobilizing the teams for desired outcome.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
  • Strong Healthcare Payer experience in Interoperability / FHIR store capabilities
  • 10+ years of Program/Project management experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in process management.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in health insurance operations (if PMP certified) or 5 years (if not).
  • Proven track record of meeting project deadlines with successful outcomes.
  • Ability to thrive in a matrix management, hands on environment.
  • Strong negotiating, influencing, and advocacy skills.
  • Outstanding communication and relationship management skills.
  • Experience with CQI, TQM, PDCA, PMBOK, or other formal improvement techniques preferred.
  • PMP and Agile certifications preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience (advanced degree preferred).
