We're seeking a relationship-driven and strategic Bar & Strategic Partnerships Manager to join our Marketing team in Missoula, Montana. This is an exciting opportunity for a collaborative professional who thrives on building meaningful partnerships, creating marketing opportunities, and driving business growth through strategic engagement.


As the Bar & Strategic Partnerships Manager, you will lead ALPS' bar association and affinity partnership program, serving as the primary liaison between ALPS and our valued partners. You'll play a key role in strengthening existing relationships, identifying new partnership opportunities, executing marketing initiatives, and helping expand ALPS' brand presence within the legal community.


This full-time position offers flexibility for remote or in-office work. While we welcome applications from talented candidates regardless of location, individuals who are able to work from our Missoula office will be given preference. In addition to a competitive salary starting at $75,000. ALPS offers a robust benefits package.


What You'll Do:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for bar associations, affinity partners, and key strategic relationships.
  • Build, maintain, and strengthen partner relationships through ongoing communication, engagement, and support.
  • Manage value-added member benefits/customer perks to include tech partnerships, online community and partnership events.
  • Lead partnership renewals, growth initiatives, and efforts to maximize partner value and member engagement.
  • Identify and develop new partnership opportunities that align with ALPS' business objectives and growth strategy.
  • Create and execute partner marketing plans, promotional campaigns, educational programs, sponsorships, and co-branded initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful delivery of partnership commitments and marketing activities.
  • Manage partnership agreements, budgets, timelines, and program deliverables.
  • Monitor partnership performance, engagement metrics, lead generation results, and overall program effectiveness.
  • Represent ALPS at conferences, bar association meetings, partner events, and industry gatherings.
  • Lead planning and execution of ALPS' bi-annual retreat for bar leadership and other partner-focused programs.


What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in partnership management, marketing, business development, account management, sales, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience developing and executing marketing initiatives or business development programs.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and CRM platforms; HubSpot experience is a plus.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate program performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Ability to travel approximately 5-8 times per year.
