As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health concerns and developing tailored treatment plans that reflect their unique needs.
• Delivering individual therapy sessions using evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to promote personal growth and healing.
• Establishing therapeutic goals in collaboration with clients and regularly monitoring their progress to ensure effective treatment.
• Providing teletherapy options for clients preferring virtual sessions, thereby enhancing access to mental health services.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in compliance with ethical and regulatory standards to uphold our commitment to professionalism.
• Engaging in continuous professional development through workshops, trainings, and peer consultations to stay current with best practices in the field.

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including adults facing anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma-related conditions, relationship difficulties, and other mental health challenges. Our practice emphasizes individualized care, allowing you to adapt your therapeutic approach to meet the varying needs of each client.

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess the following:

• A valid mental health counseling license issued by the state of Pennsylvania, such as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
• Advanced communication and interpersonal skills, enabling the establishment of a secure and trusting therapeutic relationship with clients.
• Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental approach toward client experiences and challenges.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively balance caseload and administrative responsibilities.

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in outpatient settings and proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems will be given preference. Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and experience in evidence-based therapeutic practices are also advantageous.

Gotham Enterprises Ltd offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with your experience and caseload. Additional benefits include:
