We are currently recruiting for a Team Lead, Field Support to join our team in Canada. The position location is flexible, and we can offer in-office, hybrid or fully remote working arrangements.

The role of the Team Lead, Field Support is to provide support to the Manager, Field Support and Claims Supervisors, as well as provide regular guidance and support to Field Support Employees in the day-to-day operation of the department.

  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 6+ years of relevant work experience in the insurance claims industry, specifically with property and/or content claims, or 3 years in an edjuster role.
  • Ability to manage claims independently without supervision.
  • Be able to provide an adequate workspace, free of noise.
  • Employee must provide their own high speed internet service.
  • Company equipment including laptop will be provided. It is the employee's responsibility to care for and maintain the equipment.
  • Own vehicle and valid driver's license. 
  • Criminal check required.
  • Overnight travel required - Currently, overnight travel (out of region) is a regular occurrence. All extended travel costs (flights, rental cars, hotels, meals) will be handled by use of a corporate credit card.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively lead, train and develop employees.
  • Thorough knowledge of services being delivered by edjuster.
  • In-depth knowledge of insurance coverages, policies and practices.
  • Computer and technical skills.

  • Provide administrative support to the Claims Supervisor as needed.
  • Assist Claims Supervisor and assign claims to CA's as needed.
  • Complete QA reviews on all trainee claims.
  • Provide support to Field Support team, answering questions and offering guidance on processing and pricing.
  • Work with Claims Supervisor and Field Support Employees to increase accuracy and efficiencies within the department.
  • Assist in group and/or remote training sessions as needed.
  • Assist with additional pricing on trainee claims.
  • Process field claims (data entry/pricing), as required
