Broad Function: Leads team via PM Process map and responsible for day-to-day program tasking. Responsible for meeting Program customer requirements, cost goals, and schedule, as well as developing/generating follow-on business. Provides direction, leadership and development for assigned teams. Customer Point of Contact and can manage multiple projects and/or a high complex program for Tier 1 customers.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Business Management & Program Execution
  • Utilizes & follows standard project scheduling and planning tools in accordance with TTM Program Management processes, TTM ISO-9002, & AS9100 requirements.
  • Develops high-level plans to meet both project and product cost targets. Reports progress to appropriate management levels.
  • Responsible for supporting assigned goals and objectives. These include, but are not limited to market, product, technology, customer penetration, revenue growth and profit.
  • Responsible for meeting assigned customer and program booking, shipment, and financial performance goals; regularly reports to management on progress and performance.
  • Responsible for the implementation of assigned new product development and product / program production readiness.
  • Participates in or leads project meetings and design reviews, and tracks progress of day-to-day commitments
  • Monitors program/project progress vs. staffing plan and reports any resource constraints.
  • Make recommendations on changes or workarounds.
  • Monitors progress and effectiveness on a regular basis and ensures corrective actions are taken as required. Ensures high levels of customer satisfaction and product quality.
  • Is responsible for ensuring all known or potential risks are identified and mitigation and retirement activities are incorporated into the project plan. Incorporates the documented project management process into all projects.
  • Responsible for the accuracy/validity of cost models, and sets costs targets, management reserves are established and implemented. Responsible for assigned program commitments and financial objectives are obtained.
  • Responsible for ensuring future costs and pricing meets internal margin demands.
  • Responsible for production cost and pricing targets, GM and overall financial objectives.

  • Provides mentorship in the development of Project Management personnel by providing coaching, guidance, and training as assigned or required.

Customer& New Scope/New Business Management

  • Able to handle complex customer negotiations, in collaboration with Engineering/Ops, on specs and delivery with positive results. Regularly independently handles internal negotiations for resources and priorities.
  • Responsible for setting assigned customer management strategy. Interfaces with assigned customer personnel, internal business development team.
  • Responsible for PMO portion of Bids and Proposals for development programs and new business per proposal Responsible for leading the team through Bids and Proposals in collaboration with Pricing/Finance and all key stakeholders. This includes understanding and reviewing the RFQ/RFP, incorporating the correct functional disciplines in discussions, driving actions for inputs, identifying risks and opportunities in accordance with the R&O mgmt. process, and supporting the development of costing models and any TINA and/or CAPA/CoPD data analysis that may be required. Also, responsible for generating program artifacts with key stakeholders to facilitate efficient baselining in anticipation of contract award.
  • Able to handle routine customer negotiations on specs and delivery with positive results.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or business with 10+ year's relevant Program/Project Management experience.

Compensation and Benefits:
TTM offers a variety of health and well-being benefit programs. Benefit options include medical, dental, vision, 401k, flexible spending and health savings accounts, accident benefits, life insurance, disability benefits, paid vacation & holidays. Benefits are available on the 1st of the month following date of hire. For some positions, only PTO and holiday benefits are offered.
Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:
$96,534 - $169,767
Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment. Positions hired for alternative shift may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location.
