• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to accurately identify their social, emotional, and psychological needs, using standardized assessment tools.
• Provide individualized and group counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing.
• Develop tailored service plans that align with clients' goals, ensuring an actionable roadmap toward recovery and empowerment.
• Act as an advocate for clients, navigating access to resources such as housing, healthcare, and support services, while addressing pertinent social justice concerns.
• Contribute to the development and evaluation of programs aimed at improving service delivery outcomes and meeting community needs effectively.
• Collaborate with community organizations, healthcare providers, and volunteers to enhance the scope and effectiveness of our services.
• Engage in team meetings, participate in training sessions, and take part in community outreach initiatives to raise awareness about available services and promote engagement.

The primary focus of this role is individuals and families experiencing challenges related to substance use disorders. As part of our detox center, you will support clients during a critical phase in their recovery journey, providing necessary guidance and services to help them transition to healthier lifestyles. You will work with a diverse client base, including marginalized groups, necessitating a compassionate and culturally sensitive approach to care.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.
• Current and active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Strong foundational knowledge of social justice principles and advocacy initiatives, especially as they pertain to mental health and substance use.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, emphasizing empathy and the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Organizational skills to manage multiple client caseloads and documentation responsibilities while adhering to established protocols.

• Prior experience working in a nonprofit organization or community service setting is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and crisis intervention techniques is a valuable asset.
• Experience with grant writing or program evaluation processes will be looked upon favorably.

This position offers an annual salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
